Vanja has been a part of JMV since October 1991 and has served as the firm’s Managing Partner since 2008. With over three decades of rich experience in legal practice, Vanja specialises in business and corporate law, tax law, M&A, finance, restructuring, as well as civil and administrative law. His extensive expertise allows him to navigate complex legal challenges with ease, providing clients with strategic and effective solutions.
Since last year, he has been elected a member of the Management Board of Montenegrin Bar Association where he contributes with his extensive expertise and leadership skills. His expertise and dedication to justice are further recognised through his role as an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and the President of Arbitration at the Montenegrin Olympic Committe, where he has significantly contributed to the development and implementation of arbitration practices in Montenegro.
In addition, Vanja is an active member of the AmCham Real Estate Committee and the Health Committee, where he provides valuable advice and guidance on legal matters. His commitment to the legal profession and exceptional contributions were acknowledged in 2023 when he was awarded the Charter of the Montenegrin Bar Association for his outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of the legal profession.
