Serhan is a Partner at Kolcuoglu Demirkan Kocakli and currently leads the firm’s Corporate and Commercial as well as Real Estate and Construction practices. Serhan advises a number of foreign capital companies in connection with their activities in Turkey, on a broad range of issues, including corporate law, joint ventures, contracts and employment law in several different sectors, including retail, hospitality, aviation and energy.
He has significant experience in establishing/improving corporate governance structure for family-owned businesses that address the shareholders’ conflicting interests.
Serhan has a particular focus on the real estate and construction sectors, with a substantive degree of experience in drafting and negotiating any type of real estate agreements, zoning, construction and property development matters. He is a lecturer in real estate courses for special programs organised by Istanbul-based universities.
