He has significant experience in providing commercially oriented advice to technology companies on a large range of tech-related legal matters the industry is facing. Nikolay has advised clients, including large industrial companies, software and telecom businesses, cable operators, and firms from the global and local IT industry, on a number of M&A projects, regulatory, e-commerce and privacy issues, cyber incidents response, IP/IT contracts drafting and negotiations, as well as complex due diligence projects.

His professional journey at BOYANOV & Co. began as a Trainee Attorney (1999–2003), followed by roles as Associate (2003–2012), Senior Associate (2012–2015) and, since 2025, Partner.
