Hasan joined Kolcuoglu Demirkan Kocakli as a Partner in 2022. Before joining the firm, he was a senior partner leading the capital markets team of another Istanbul based top-tier law firm where he worked for almost a decade.
Hasan has successfully represented multinational banks, financial institutions, brokerage firms, portfolio management companies, investment funds and publicly held companies in various cross-border and domestic capital markets and banking transactions, including swap and derivatives transactions; repo transactions; financing transactions; equity and debt capital markets offerings; securitisation; electronic money offerings; and provision of investment services, payment services and insurance products.
He has represented the underwriters in all Eurobond offerings of the Republic of Türkiye between 2013 and 2022. He also provides legal advice to local and foreign crypto service providers and crypto markets.
Hasan is recognised as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500 in its Banking, Finance and Capital Markets category. He is also the winner of the “Rising Star Award for Türkiye” at the IFLR1000 EMEA Awards 2021 as well as the “Rising Star Award for Türkiye” at the IFLR1000 Europe Awards 2020.
