NNDKP Assisted Orange Services in Negotiating and Concluding the First Collective Labour Contract in the History of the Company

Our member firm Nestor Nestor Diculscu Kingston Petersen assisted Orange Services, one of the most important technological hubs within the Orange Group, in negotiating and concluding the first collective labor contract in the history of the company, a project of strategic importance with significant implications for the working relations and the organisation of the activity.

Orange Services’ objective was to shape a contractual framework that would meet both the needs and expectations of employees and the business objectives of the company, while ensuring the financial sustainability of the commitments assumed in the medium and long term, while building long lasting foundation with Unions representatives.

The negotiations addressed a number of key issues for employment relations, with a focus on social protection and employee rights, and the collective agreement concluded establishes a reference framework for managing employment relations for about 1,700 employees of Orange Services, contributing to strengthening social dialog and increasing predictability in the relations between society and its employees. The successful completion of the collective negotiations reflects the professionalism and involvement of the Orange Services team, as well as its ability to constructively approach the negotiations and to identify balanced solutions that take into account both the interests of employees and business objectives.

The NNDKP team consisted of Roxana Abrasu, Partner and Head of the Employment practice, and Daniel Stancescu, Managing Associate within the same practice.
