Our member firm Divjak, Topic, Bahtijarevic & Krka has advised Bank Pekao S.A. in connection with a new EUR 300 million financing package secured by Studenac, a Croatian retail chain store.
This strategic financing will enable Studenac to refinance its existing long-term obligations under more favourable conditions and to accelerate its growth through the opening of new stores and targeted acquisitions. The transaction marks a key milestone in the company’s ongoing expansion strategy.
The deal was led by Bank Pekao S.A. with participation from both long-standing financial partners and new contributors, including OTP Bank, Zagrebačka banka, Powszechny Zakład Ubezpieczeń (PZU) from Poland and OTP Bank Plc from Hungary.
