Iurie Cojocaru
Iurie heads the NNDKP’s Data Protection practice having more than 17 years of experience in the legal profession.
He advises clients in various industries on complex privacy matters related to their core businesses, marketing or employment activities, database sharing, and data protection implications of business transfers and M&A projects, both national and cross-border, as well as on a wide range of regulatory compliance and data breach aspects. Iurie also advises on various cybersecurity matters and has assisted clients in managing cybersecurity incidents, including by implementing measures to prevent and minimize their impact.
Iurie is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E), having obtained his accreditation from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the world’s largest information privacy organisation.
