On August 20, 2018, Bogdan Ivanisevic, Head of Data Protection practice at SEE Legal's Serbian member BDK Advokati, held a session on “GDPR and Serbian media” for the participants in the “Strengthening Media Systems” project. Availability of Domain Name Holders' Data in Europe Limited to a Minimum?

BDK Advokati discuss a recent desion of the German Regional Court and its possible implications. In a decision based directly on the GDPR, a German court recently prohibited collection of broad categories of personal data during the process of registration of internet domain names.
