The Opening of Online Gambling Licensing Procedure in Greece
The Opening of Online Gambling Licensing Procedure in Greece
After a long transitional period, which lasted almost eight years, Greece is officially entering a new era, moving on from uncertainty to a new regulated investment landscape.
On 11 September 2020 the Hellenic Gaming Commission (‘HGC’) announced the opening of the procedure regarding online gambling licensing and invited all interested parties to submit their applications and documentation.
Most of the specific requirements and the required paperwork have already been known, following the publication of a series of Technical Regulations at the beginning of August.
Operators can now prepare and submit their applications!
KG Law Firm is also ready to provide support in terms of clarifying the applicable regulatory regime, liaising with the ‘HGC’ and to help you successfully submit your application.
For more information, please contact KG Law Firm’s partner John Kyriakides and associate John Broupis.
