Marić & Co LLC Law Firm regularly monitors tobacco related actual or potential legislative developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina jurisdiction. The Law on Control and Limited Use of Tobacco has been drafted in the entity Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a base for preparation of the Proposal of the Law. One of the most important novelties in the Draft Law is a total ban of smoking in all enclosed spaces, workplaces, public transport, events, and in vehicles, if a person under the age of 18 is in the car. This Law is needed to harmonize the legislation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control of the World Health Organization and the European Union regulations.
