SEE Legal Group Announces New Co-Chairs

The SEE Legal Group has announced that following a Management Meeting on Tuesday, 26th January 2021, the managing partners of the Group have elected Emir Bahtijarevic, Managing partner at Divjak, Topic, Bahtijarevic & Krka (Croatia) and Bojana Bosnjak-London, Partner at Maric & Co (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to replace Gus Papamichalopoulos, Managing partner at Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm (Greece) and Kristijan Polenak, Managing partner at Polenak Law Firm (Republic of North Macedonia), which term has expired. The SEE Legal Group would like to thank both Gus Papamichalopoulos and Kristijan Polenak for their hard work in leading the Group through these challenging times.

Emir Bahtijarevic and Bojana Bosnjak-London will continue developing the SEE Legal Group along with the permanent Co-Chair, Borislav Boyanov, Managing partner at BOYANOV & Co. (Bulgaria).

Emir Bahtijarevic

Emir Bahtijarevic is the managing partner of Divjak, Topic, Bahtijarevic & Krka Law Firm (DTB) and the head of DTB’s Real Estate, Project Finance and Energy practice groups. He leads teams supporting international firms in real estate development and project investment sectors, including shopping malls, office buildings, infrastructure and tourist facilities, and in particular (renewable) energy projects. Under Emir’s management, teams have advised on complex domestic and cross-border M&A deals across a full range of industries. He frequently collaborates with international law firms in cross-border transactions and takes part in international conventions and forums.

Bojana Bosnjak-London

Bojana Bosnjak-London is a partner and co-head of the Corporate Department of Maric & Co Law Firm with over 13 years of practice. Over the years, she was engaged in advising major foreign and domestic clients on various matters of Bosnia and Herzegovina legal framework. Bojana specialises in corporate, banking, M&A, regulatory issues and foreign investment into Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has extensive professional experience in overcoming complex legal and regulatory challenges and writing comprehensive legal analysis and reports.
