The Panorama Hills resort is situated in the vicinity of the capital city of Sarajevo, just 28 km away from the airport and is, therefore, very accessible. It is set to cover the area of 246,000 m2. The complex consists of 215 parcels for different purposes, of which 190 parcels are planned for individual objects. There are four parcels predetermined for a health care centre, one parcel for a restaurant and one parcel is reserved for a market. The rest of the parcels are intended to be public green areas, such as parks and playgrounds. Within these public areas, there is a lake and a children ski lift. The size of the individual parcel areas vary between 411.06 m2 and 7189.51 m2. The enormous difference that this project makes is the system of environmentally friendly energy such as the wood, sun and earth/water heat. It is envisioned that 195 individual objects with green areas and garages will be constructed. The company proposing the project is looking for an investor who is willing to take over the entire project or to realise it as a joint venture. The project cost is estimated to be EUR 35.7 million.
