Nestor Nestor Diculescu Kingston Petersen (NNDKP) was named Tax Disputes Firm of the Year in Romania at the 2023 edition of the ITR EMEA Tax Awards organized by the International Tax Review. The 18th edition of the awards acknowledges the innovative approach, performance, and key role played by the strongest tax, tax disputes, and transfer pricing teams of experts across 34 jurisdictions throughout the region in developing the global advisory services market.
The award received by NNDKP is an international recognition of the performance, professionalism, and achievements of NNDKP’s Center of Excellence in Fiscal Disputes. Founded in 2019, NNDKP CELF offers integrated services to the company’s clients throughout a fiscal dispute, from the initial stage up to and during the litigation stage before the Romanian and international courts, combining the experience, technical skills and perspective of tax consultants and tax litigation professionals.
“The Tax Disputes Firm of the Year in Romania award is a distinction that honors us and confirms once again the remarkable achievements of the NNDKP CELF tax consultants and attorneys over the past year. This international recognition is yet another reason to continue to deliver our clients, with each assignment, concrete and effective solutions, tailored to their business needs, considering the multiple challenges and tax changes that may impact their business. Congratulations to the entire team! Thank you, International Tax Review for this award and for such an exceptional event!”, said Alina Timofti, Partner and Co-head of NNDKP Tax Advisory Services.
“We are happy to receive this award which validates the excellent collaboration of our teams of lawyers and tax consultants. By choosing an integrated approach to tax disputes we can offer our clients full-service solutions covering the entire range of issues that could come up throughout a fiscal dispute. I congratulate each member of our team for their contribution to this success and we are very grateful to our clients for the trust they place in us”, declared Emil Bivolaru, Partner, NNDKP, Dispute Resolution Practice.
“We are proud to be named Tax Disputes Firm of the Year in Romania! In 2019, when we laid the foundations of NNDKP CELF, our goal was to operate as a one-stop-shop firm for litigation and tax matters, maintaining the same high standard of service. Today, this award stands as proof that we have been successful in meeting this objective and that NNDKP CELF is a powerhouse in tax disputes in Romania, validated by our clients’ trust in us and by a prestigious publication like International Tax Review”, declared Marius Ionescu, Partner and Co-head of NNDKP Tax Advisory Services.
