Municipal Services’ Project

A project to improve municipal services financed by a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) has been announced. The main objective of the project is to finance realization of investment projects through an increase of revenues i.e. reduction of operating costs through financing of municipalities that are in the second phase of fiscal decentralization and are eligible for long-term borrowing, through long-term on-lending borrowing.

The project is established to finance activities related to water supply, solid waste management, and other revenue-generating or cost-saving investments.
