Our member firm Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm advised Heygaz Biomethane, S.L. on Greek law aspects of a corporate financing supporting its European biomethane portfolio across Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Norway and Greece.
The KG Law Firm team facilitated the structuring and review of the financing and security documents from a Greek law perspective, and coordinated with lenders’ Greek advisors and international legal counsels throughout the implementation of the transaction.
The team was led by Christina Chini, Partner, and Anna-Maria Papamichalopoulou, Associate, who advised on all aspects of the transaction.
This financing marks a key step in scaling biomethane infrastructure across Europe and supports Heygaz’s target of 1.5TWh of biomethane capacity by 2030.
