Investments into Infrastructure

The Serbian investments into infrastructure:

  • construction of several facilities in Belgrade for wastewater treatment, including Batajnica facility (currently being designed) and Ostruznica facility (Belgrade administration in talks with several banks to finance this project);
  • Belgrade metro project financing – the Government of Serbia designated funds in this year’s budget for the project. Geological research on the projected route is underway;
  • Road construction: Fruska Gora corridor, finalisation of Corridor 11 and Sumadija Corridor. These projects have been announced by state officials, but details concerning their implementation and financing remain unclear. This is especially the case with Corridor 11 and Sumadija Corridor, while for Fruska Gora corridor the Government announced that it will soon start negotiations concerning project financing. Fruska Gora corridor will most likely be developed by China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC).
