By 2030, HEP intends to increase the share of renewable sources in the production portfolio by 50 per cent and to increase the annual production from renewable sources from the current six to nine billion kWh. At the moment, HEP has more than 60 renewable energy projects in various stages of development, with a total capacity of around 1,400 MW and an estimated investment value of almost 1.5 billion euros. SE Korlat stands out among them, with 75 MW of connected and 99 MW of installed capacity and an estimated investment value of around 80 million euros, which will be built right next to HEP’s first 58 MW wind power plant. This will make the first renewable hybrid energy park in Croatia operational at the Korlat location.
