Introduction
The Ministry of Digital Governance and the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCSA) announced on 27 January 2025 an extension of the deadlines for entities falling within the scope of Law 5160/2024 (transposing the NIS2 Directive) to submit basic company information to the NCSA in accordance with Articles 4 par. 3 and 19 par. 1 of the said Law.
Registration Deadlines
1. Essential & Important Entities
All essential and important entities subject to Law 5160/2024 must submit the relevant information to the NCSA by the new deadline of March 14, 2025, previously set for January 27, 2025.
2. Specific Service Providers
Article 19 Law 5160/2024 entities must also provide relevant information by the new deadline of February 21, 2025, previously set for January 17, 2025. This includes:
- Domain Name System (DNS) providers
- Top-Level Domain (TLD) registries
- Domain name registration service providers
- Cloud service providers
- Data center operators
- Content delivery network providers
- Managed service providers
- Managed security service providers
- Online marketplaces, search engines, and social media platforms
