BDK Advokati Advises Coca Cola HBC on the Acquisition of Serbian Confectionary Firm Bambi
Coca Cola HBC AG has penned an agreement with Mid Europa Partners to acquire Bambi a.d. for an enterprise value of EUR 260 million. By this acquisition, Coca Cola HBC will add to its beverage portfolio snack brands well-known in the Balkan region, such as Bambi, Plazma, Wellness and Zlatni Pek. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019 upon issuance of relevant merger clearances.
BDK Advokati acted as legal advisor to Coca Cola HBC together with Norton Rose Fulbright as international legal advisors. BDK’s M&A team was led by Senior Partner Vladimir Dasic. Partner Milan Dakic was in charge of the legal assessment of Bambi’s real estate portfolio, and Partner Bogdan Ivanisevic directed the examination of intellectual property assets owned by, or licensed to, the company.
