Our member firm Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm has represented Bally’s Corporation (NYSE: BALY) in its landmark EUR 2.7 billion transaction with Intralot — a deal set to reshape the gaming and lottery landscape globally and one of the most complex and high-impact cross-border transactions ever in Greece.
This transformative deal involves the transfer of Bally’s International Interactive business to Intralot for cash and new shares and will result in the creation of one of the largest companies by market capitalisation listed on the Athens Stock Exchange, creating a new powerhouse in lottery technology and iGaming, with strong market presence across Europe and North America.
The transaction was led by the Partners of the firm’s Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practice Konstantinos Vouterakos, Theodore Rakintzis and Apostolos Georgantast, and included also Meletios Andrianos, Counsel, alongside Senior Associates Zaphirenia Theodoraki, Athanasios Misirlis and Marianna Katsifi, and Associates Despina Korovesi and Sotiria Pane.
