BA Glass Invests EUR 70 Million in New Glass Furnace and Warehouse

BA Glass, one of the biggest producers of glass containers in Europe for the food and beverage industry, is preparing EUR 150 million investments in Romania. They will invest EUR 70 million in a new glass furnace in Bucharest and a warehouse of 25,000 square meters, which will be subsequently extended to a capacity of 55,000 square meters. Furthermore, the company has already planned the construction of another furnace in Bucharest, of a higher capacity, which will be ready in 2025.
Sarom Packaging EUR 3.2 million New Investments

Sarom Packaging, a company operating in the glass packaging and relevant consultancy market, has announced EUR 3.2 million in new investments for increasing its storage capacity and for opening new branches over the next four years, aiming to harmonize distribution flow elements and secure stocks. The company is already present in three countries apart from Romania, namely the Republic of Moldova, Bulgaria, and Hungary.

AR Packaging Group AB Acquired All Outstanding Shares in Istragrafika
AR Packaging Group AB has acquired all outstanding shares in Istragrafika, d.d., a producer of high-quality folding carton products for the tobacco, food and consumer goods segments.
The transaction involved several legal workstreams with the requirement of simultaneous acquisitions of all shares and production facility and machinery previously leased by Istragrafika. AR Packaging Group has been represented by DTB team of lawyers led by senior partner Damir Topic, partner Marin Vukovic (in charge for property acquisition), partner Mario Krka and lead lawyer Juraj Fabijanic (in charge for statutory company matters).
