The Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Prohibits Processing of Personal Data of Coronavirus Positive Persons
The Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a Decision prohibiting processing of personal data of persons that are Coronavirus positive and persons subject to self-isolation measures. The Agency has initiated an administrative procedure to determine the lawfulness of such processing based on the knowledge that some competent authorities publish personal data on all individuals that are positive on Coronavirus, as well as for persons who have been isolated and self-isolated due to a pandemic virus.
In the lights of the pandemic of Coronavirus and isolation measures imposed, the first question is whether personal data on individuals who violate the law or certain prohibitions can be published. The second question is whether data on each individual in isolation and self-isolation can be published.
