The ‘New Normal’ of the Reopened Workplace

The Government of the Republic of North Macedonia adopted the Protocol on preventive measures for all workplaces in order to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

This Protocol is applicable for all workplaces and all people in the workplace, such as employers, employees, managers, contractors, customers and visitors. It includes measures related to personal hygiene and protective equipment, recommendations for respiratory hygiene and physical distancing in the workplace, as well as reducing travel related to work and a separate organisation when it is necessary to implement.

The Protocol for preventive measures for all workplaces to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 includes recommendations and measures for regular cleaning and disinfection of the work environment, constant communication, training and risk education, as well as procedures when it is necessary to manage employees with symptoms which correspond to COVID-19.
