Polenak Law Firm acts as local legal counsel to EBRD in a EUR 10 million loan transaction to Sparkasse Banka Makedonija. EBRD provides EUR 10 million loan to Sparkasse Banka Makedonija for on-lending to Macedonian SMEs. Polenak Law Firm Advised Diaverum

Polenak Law Firm advised Diaverum in the acquisition of dialysis services provider in Macedonia. Diaverum enters the Macedonian market through the acquisition of PZU Diamed Macedonia. PZU Diamed Macedonia operates nine dialysis centres since 2014, after being awarded one of two lots in a national public tender. The tender has a duration of 20 years and will last until 2034. Polenak Law Firm Advised FOS Asset Management SA

Polenak Law Firm assisted FOS Asset Management SA, a Swiss-based investment company, through a specialized fund Global Special Opportunities Ltd, in establishing a cooperation with Feni Industry (in bankruptcy) for processing of nickel ore. Feni Industry is the biggest facility for processing of nickel ore and production of ferronickel in Macedonia, but the company became distressed and was declared bankrupt in November 2017. In the bankruptcy process the creditors tendered an opportunity to operate the plant and maintain the production process.
